As most of us who have been on a diet at one time or the other know that most diets don't work!  Either we lose motivation and quit because the scale doesn't move or after we've starved ourselves for a few pounds put those and more back on as soon as we start eating again.

In the past few decades, the average North Amercian diet has gradually become increasingly less healthy while our lifestyles have become more sedentary. And it’s getting worse by the day.

And with the pressures of work and family life this surely described us!

Throughout my life I have made a career at trying different diets; read just as  many different new, diet books and magazines for quick fixes...but nothing seemed to work for me. In all fairness though, I’m not sure we worked at the diets that hard either. 

After having our son, my husband with his "sympathy weight" and my last 15lbs still looming 2 years later had almost resigned ourselves to this is parenthood until we met up with my in-laws who at Easter were a lot leaner than their Christmas selves.

Well, that got our attention and as they say, the rest is history. In just a few days, we were on this innovative Protein protocol and within the first 8 weeks, we had lost 60 lbs combined!
